Welcome

I am attending Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. Throughout my time so far I have observed many educators, students, and other educational professionals. Building my portfolio is essential to my future career in education and academia.

Education is an essential tool for bettering the futures of society. Ever since Kindergarten, I have dreamed of becoming a teacher. Throughout my childhood, I have had several influential educators in my life who have promoted my drive to become successful in the field.

In high school, I founded a non-profit organization that has donated over 14,500 books to sick children in hospitals across the United States. My organization, Books of Hope's mission sought to "overcome the bad to create a better good." I believe that since its inception, that mission has become successful. In my future classroom, I plan on teaching my students about philanthropy and giving back to their community through such efforts. My accomplishment was not done alone and couldn't have been accomplished without many individuals. Together we can overcome--.
